Overview:

A consortium of companies, Tilad Almajd, Taurus and Tashkeil came together to carry out a cultural canvas across Saudi Arabia with the aim of documenting various cultural attributes and producing a dynamic digital cultural archive. Its mandate is to document, preserve and maintain cultural heritage, reinforce national identity, social cohesion and enable cultural industries by developing the capabilities of the youth.

Objectives:

• Safeguard the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Kingdom and ensure its survival through identifying, documenting, researching, preserving, protecting, and promoting it

• Identify and define the different elements of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage present in the Kingdom, with the participation of relevant communities, groups and non-governmental organizations.

• Monitor, protect and enhance the diversity of cultural expressions
